Idrottsklub Förenta Saffron (Sports Club United Saffron in English), also known as IK Förenta Saffron, or just Saffron, is a professional baseball team from Saffron, Reykjaholar, Koana Islands. They joined the Koanian Basebollförbundet in 1898, being one of two teams to join the Super Ligan when it expanded to 12 teams.

The birth of the team came in 1894 when wealthy businessman Alex Ling, an avid sports enthusiast and advocate for physical fitness, recognized the importance of promoting a well-rounded approach to body training and overall well-being. Motivated by his love for sports, Ling established the prestigious IK Förenta Saffron club, which quickly became synonymous within the city for providing athletic activities and physical development.

IK Förenta Saffron continues to hold a prominent position in the community, offering state-of-the-art facilities for a wide range of sports and activities. Gösta Tammsgatan, situated in the heart of the city, serves as the spiritual home ground for baseball enthusiasts in the region. Strategically nestled between the diverging paths of a rail line, the stadium boasts a unique feature that sets it apart from others. The left field foul pole, due to the proximity of the rail line, is noticeably shorter than standard measurements.

The ballpark, renowned for its balanced layout, offers an exciting and engaging experience for both players and spectators. The prevailing winds blowing in from center field add an extra layer of complexity to the game, making home runs a formidable feat.

Over the years, Gösta Tammsgatan has undergone significant expansions to accommodate the growing fan base. One of its most remarkable features is the addition of seating directly above the train line that runs parallel to the left field line, providing a distinctive vantage point for spectators to witness the action unfold from a unique perspective.

IK Förenta Saffron are known as Riddarer (The Knights) when supporters of the team used to meet at the Det Runda Bordet (The Round Table) bar after games to discuss the game.
